In a major collaboration aimed at accelerating AI adoption in India, Google and Reliance Jio have announced a strategic partnership that will bring advanced AI tools to millions of users. As part of the initiative, eligible Jio users will receive access to Google’s Gemini Pro AI Plan free for 18 months, valued at approximately ₹35,100. The plan includes Gemini 2.5 Pro, 2TB of cloud storage, and cutting-edge AI tools such as Nano Banana and Veo 3.1, designed to enhance productivity, creativity, and digital innovation.

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it will bring “the best of Google AI to India”, empowering users with state-of-the-art artificial intelligence solutions. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, reiterated Reliance’s vision to make India “AI-empowered”, highlighting the role of technology in shaping the country’s digital economy.

The rollout will initially focus on Jio 5G users aged 18–25, with plans to expand access nationwide in the coming months. Industry analysts note that the partnership not only democratizes AI tools for individual users but also supports startups, entrepreneurs, and enterprises in leveraging AI for innovation and growth.
