In a remarkable achievement for India’s public health sector, the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan has earned three Guinness World Records, underscoring the initiative’s massive impact on preventive and women-centric healthcare. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare announced that the campaign achieved global recognition for the most people registering on a healthcare platform in a month, the most online breast cancer screening sign-ups in a week, and the most people registering for vital-signs screening online in a week (state-level).

Launched as part of India’s broader mission to strengthen community-based healthcare, the initiative successfully reached every district in the country, conducting approximately 19.7 lakh health camps nationwide. Through these efforts, it engaged more than 11 crore people across digital and physical health platforms, significantly expanding access to preventive screening and early detection services, especially for women in rural and semi-urban regions.

Officials described the campaign as a milestone in India’s public health transformation, combining technology, awareness, and on-ground participation to create one of the largest health outreach programs in the world. By focusing on women’s wellness, the Abhiyan not only promotes early diagnosis of diseases such as breast cancer but also empowers families through health education and community participation.

The recognition from Guinness World Records highlights India’s growing leadership in leveraging innovation and collective action to achieve large-scale health awareness and inclusivity, marking a new era in nationwide preventive healthcare.
